Gavin Floyd will be on the hill for the White Sox as they try to stop their downward spiral. Floyd gave up six runs in his last start, so he'll need to bounce back in this one. You've probably heard by now how bad the White Sox bullpen has been. Matt Thornton has blown all four of his save chances and the rest of the bullpen has been terrible as well.

It hasn't been just the bullpen though, because the offense has severely underperformed of late. The White Sox have scored a total of two runs in the three games against Tampa in this series. Alex Rios is hitting .183 and Adam Dunn is hitting .175. The White Sox aren't as bad as they have looked the last few days, but they need to get some momentum going once again.

Tampa Bay has nine of their last ten after a horrific start. The Rays simply could not score a run at the beginning of the season. The offense still hasn't been great, but they have been coming up with timely hits. The Rays starting rotation has been terrific over the last ten games.
